Standard sizes:
– Thicknesses: 18, 20, 27, 34, 41, 45, 54, 65, 80 and 100mm
– Lengths: 2m, 2m20, 2m50, 3m and 3m50
– Width: 25 cm and more
– Colour is tolerated without limitation and without uniformity
– Sound knots less than 5 mm, admitted in number less than 8
– Sound knots of diameter between 5 and 25 mm, admitted in the equivalence of a knot smaller than 50 mm
– Admitted with reduction: one loose or rotten knot less than 25 mm, one isolated knot less than 20% of the width of the board, rolling, frostbite, between-bark, altered sapwood if isolated, brown heart less than 25%, sapwood pitting.
Excluded: lunure, rot.
